Privacy Policy
ABH Automotives (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the App. This policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used. The App is a simple coupon-redeem system: mechanics scan a QR code printed on physical coupons to receive reward points. We do not sell or share user data with anyone.
Who we are
Information we collect
The App is designed to work with minimal data. In the normal course of use, the App does not require you to provide personal information. Any information you voluntarily send us (for example, when you contact support) will be used only to respond to you.
Device permissions
The App does not need broad or continuous permissions. It requests access only at specific moments:
- Camera (on-demand): Used only to scan QR codes printed on physical coupons for point redemption. The camera feed is processed on-device for scanning and is not stored.
- Location (on-demand/optional): May be requested during particular in-app events (for example, to verify eligibility or campaign rules tied to a location). Location data, if provided, is used at that moment and is not stored for profiling.
No other permissions are required or used by the App.
How we use information
- To validate and redeem coupons by scanning QR codes.
- To award and display points to the mechanic account within the App.
- To enforce campaign rules (e.g., preventing misuse) during specific events where location may be requested.
- To respond to customer support requests you initiate.
Data storage & retention
- QR scans and the resulting points/rewards may be recorded in our service database to operate your balance and redemption history.
- Camera frames used for scanning are not stored.
- Location data (if requested and granted) is used transiently during the relevant event and is not retained, except minimal logs necessary to secure the system or comply with law.
- Support communications you send us may be retained as required to address your request and maintain records.
Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties. Information may be disclosed only if required by law, to protect our rights, or to investigate fraud/abuse of the coupon system.
Children’s privacy
The App is intended for use by adults in a professional context. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the App and its services.
Your choices & rights
- You can decline camera or location prompts. Note that declining may prevent coupon scanning or location-based checks.
- You may request access to or deletion of your account data (such as points ledger) by emailing abhish9229@gmail.com.
International/Legal compliance
We operate in India and handle data in accordance with applicable Indian laws. By using the App, you consent to the processing described here.
Policy changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Effective date”. Material changes will be highlighted within the App or by other reasonable means.
